Information

There are a couple of options to download articles off of the archives. We are currently working on a full database backup system that will be able to be downloaded much like Wikipedia's backup system. As another option, we will soon be including links to download the original files each article is based off of, if available. In the meantime, you can download a copy of the article you wish by selecting which option best suits your needs below.

eBook Site

We are working on a version of the site that will be entirely in eBook format for viewing in web browsers designed for mobile devices, tables, and eBook readers, as well as desktop computers. The site will have a feel similar to that of Google Books. This is going to be a major feature that will be released in the summer of 2011.

ePub File

ePub is an open file format used for eBook readers. You can download the file by clicking the "Export as ePub" option in the toolbox on the left side of the page. This works on most of our articles, but some articles will generate an error. We are trying to come up with a solution to this problem in the immediate future. There are countless numbers of ePub readers availible, but here are some options to get you started:

Native support for these eBook Readers:

  • iPad
  • Kobo eReader
  • NOOK Color
  • Sony Reader Touch Edition
  • Bookeen Cybook Opus
  • Sony Reader Pocket Edition
  • iRiver Touch eReader

XML File Export

The export page can be found here. All Mediawiki sites have built in import/export functionality. The article can be exported into this native XML format and imported into another Mediawiki installation. There are a couple of software packages that allow viewing of the file without installing Mediawiki. Here are some options:
